It is not necessary for any client to have signed an acceptance of these terms and conditions for them to apply. If a client accepts a quote, then the client will be deemed to have satisfied themselves as to the terms applying and have accepted these terms and conditions in full.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. Any purchase or use of our services implies that you have read and accepted our terms and conditions.
If you are happy with the quotation provided by BH Tree Care, there is a 20% Non-refundable deposit to proceed to the next step.
Once the deposit has been paid we will check the appropriate local Authority for Tree Preservation Order (TPO), conservation area, SSSI, or any other planning and felling restrictions that may apply to the work quoted. If needed we will complete the necessary application(s) on your behalf.
Once all necessary paperwork has been completed and approved we will be in touch to arrange a mutually convenient time to undertake the work.
Any additional work will incur additional cost (let us know at least 48hrs prior so we can plan into day)
The remaining balance will be due on completion of work, payments can be made via bank transfer cheque or cash. Late payments are liable to interest charge of 5% to be calculated daily.
BH Tree Care holds public liability of £5 million and employers’ liability to the value of £10 million.
Where any underground services or Utilities are present at the work site where work is being undertaken, it is the responsibility of the customer to inform BH Tree Care, who will then take the required precautions to enable us to undertake the work safely. BH Tree Care shall not be liable for any damage caused where the customer has failed to inform BH Tree Care of the presence of any services.
BH Tree Care reserves the right to delay, postpone or cancel works affected by inclement/dangerous weather condition. We will do our best to get you re-booked in ASAP.
BH Tree Care reserves the right to delay or postpone work due to Emergency Call Outs that will take priority. We will do our best to get you re-booked in ASAP.
BH Tree Care shall take all reasonable steps to ensure the safe retention of any wildlife habitats and reserves the right to delay, postpone or cancel work accordingly and to resume work as soon as practical. (i.e nesting birds)
The contract price is based on site conditions as inspected by BH Tree Care at the time the quotation was undertaken. BH Tree Care reserves the right to levy additional costs subject to the degree of additional obstruction or to delay, postpone or rearrange works as necessary. BH Tree Care does not accept any responsibility for any damage or loss incurred through moving obstruction, etc.
If permission is needed from either a neighbour, land owner etc to gain / use access to there land, it is the customers responsibility to get this in writing and forward it onto ben@bhtreecare.co.uk also it is the customers responsibility to fully brief them of the work entailed.
If work is delayed for any reason due to third party interference and/or client issues once the date of work has been agreed, the client is liable for any and all costs incurred caused by the delay.
Quotations for tree(s) are based on the assumption that the tree’s interior is free from metal/stone, etc. If this is the case, BH Tree Care reserves the right to alter the job accordingly. (i.e. cutting stump higher due to metal being below).
BH Tree Care will take all reasonable steps to ensure the worksite is left clean and tidy as responsibly practical on completion of all works.
